This release corrects the floating launcher position and improves the dashboard, chat interface and mobile experience.
- *Fixes and improvements**
- **Bottom-corner launcher:** Fixed the hidden glass panel taking up layout space and pushing the chat icon toward the top. The launcher now anchors to the selected bottom-right or bottom-left corner.
- **Theme compatibility:** Added protection against theme containers that interfere with fixed positioning.
- **Dashboard refresh:** Improved spacing, navigation, statistics cards and system-status displays.
- **Organized settings:** Added search across all categories, clearer search results, unsaved-change feedback and a persistent save bar.
- **Appearance preview:** Preview changes to the assistant name, colors and corner radius before saving.
- **Cleaner chat interface:** Refined the header, message bubbles, intake form and composer. Incoming glass messages gain a stronger white fill on hover.
- **Desktop conversation tools:** Moved Chat ID, summary, download and new-conversation actions into a three-dot header menu.
- **Mobile optimization:** Retained the half-screen chat layout, increased input readability and touch-target sizes, and added keyboard-aware positioning. Chat ID and summary controls remain hidden on mobile.
- **Interaction improvements:** Hover opens the desktop chat without stealing keyboard focus. Clicking after hover keeps it open, and closed chat controls are excluded from keyboard navigation.
- *Updating**
Upload the ZIP through WordPress and select **Replace current with uploaded**. Do not delete the existing plugin first, as uninstalling removes its stored data. Clear website caches after updating.
Existing AI, payment, database and conversation modules remain unchanged.
JavaScript syntax checks, ZIP integrity checks and 81 simulated behavior checks passed. Live WordPress, PHP-runtime and rendered-browser testing remain unverified.
**Software Licence**
KGW AI Assistant is distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or any later version. Customers retain the rights granted by that licence, including rights to use, study, modify and redistribute the covered software subject to its terms.
**Commercial Plans**
Your purchase includes the plugin download and 12 months of access to released updates and email support:
- Personal: coverage for one production website.
- Business: coverage for up to three production websites.
- Agency: coverage for unlimited websites owned or managed by the purchasing individual or business.
Website limits apply to commercial support and update services. They do not restrict rights granted under the GPL.
**Client Websites**
Covered websites may include client websites you actively manage. Support requests must be submitted through the purchasing account. Client ownership does not automatically create a separate customer support account.
**Updates and Renewal**
Renewal extends access to updates and support for another 12 months. If you do not renew, these services expire, but your rights to the downloaded software under the GPL remain unchanged.
**Third-Party Costs**
AI API usage, hosting, domains, payment-gateway fees and other third-party services are not included. Customers are responsible for maintaining the accounts required by their chosen integrations.
**Support Scope**
Support covers installation guidance, plugin configuration and investigation of reproducible plugin issues. Custom development, website redesign and administration of third-party services are excluded unless separately agreed.
**Account Access**
Customer-account credentials and access to paid support services must not be shared or resold. This does not restrict redistribution rights granted by the software licence.
**Data and AI Responses**
Website owners are responsible for their privacy notices, visitor consent, retention settings and provider selection. AI-generated answers may contain errors and should not be treated as guaranteed accurate.
Nothing in these commercial terms limits applicable mandatory consumer rights or rights granted under the GPL.
